Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions invites recent graduates to join its Technology Graduate Program in Sydney. This 12-month hybrid program offers two six-month rotations across big data, AI, SRE, DevOps and security engineering, with exposure to AWS and Azure.

You will develop foundational software engineering skills, collaborate with experienced mentors, and contribute to real product delivery while learning through structured training and feedback.

Qualifications

• Have completed or will complete a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Graduation date between Feb 2026 and Feb 2027 is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, to collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency in development languages such as Java/J2EE, Python, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, Linux, and .Net.
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
• Australian working rights (no visa sponsorship).
• Eligible to work onsite in Sydney office twice a week.

Responsibilities

• Write and review portions of detailed specifications for developing system components of simple complexity.
• Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews under guidance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across development environments to gather requirements.
• Complete simple bug fixes and apply knowledge of test-driven development.
• Contribute to software development projects by analyzing requirements and delivering solutions.
• Stay updated on new technology developments and data manipulation languages.
• Demonstrate understanding of data modeling principles and applicable development languages.
