Job summary

Wenco in Brisbane, Australia, is seeking two full-time Software Engineers to drive quality and accelerate development of our Fleet Management System. You will join an Agile team reporting to the Software Development Manager, contributing to modern software solutions across enterprise applications.

The role suits Intermediate to Senior Engineers and offers a hybrid work model with a 9/76 compressed schedule, plus profit-sharing and a competitive base salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Intermediate or Senior Software Developer.
• Strong background in C++ or C#, with an interest in becoming proficient in both.
• Experience maintaining production software spanning desktop, web, and backend services.
• Proficient across the full development lifecycle including design, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Experience using Kanban or Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise applications and services in a Windows platform environment.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and internal teams to drive architecture modernization.
• Join our on-call rotation to support key deployments in Australia and abroad.
• Champion critical technical initiatives and sustain our culture of continuous improvement and growth.
