Job summary

NinjaTech AI, Sydney-based startup, is hiring a Software Development Engineer to design, build and scale AI-powered agent platforms. This full-time, on-site role collaborates across frontend, backend and infra to deliver robust web apps using Python, React, Node.js and Next.js.

You will work with senior engineers and product teams to translate customer needs into reliable, scalable solutions on the Ninja platform, including AI agents, automation and integrations, in a fast-paced, collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience building scalable web apps (1+ year).
• Proficient in Python, React, Node.js or Next.js; willingness to learn others.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Firebase).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Build features end-to-end for the NinjaTech web app (super.myninja.ai).
• Ensure performance optimization and high-quality user experience.
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in CI/CD.
• Collaborate with product management to align requirements with tech feasibility.
• Develop and maintain API and frontend/backend integrations.
