Job summary

BambooHR is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Developer to contribute to our next generation HR software in Sydney. You’ll work on multiple projects to keep us the #1 HR software for SMBs. If you enjoy solving problems and building world-class software, you’ll love BambooHR.

You will write backend code, explore new technologies, optimize performance, and collaborate with the team to integrate features into the application, delivering high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in web development.
• Experience with PHP, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS.
• Object Oriented development.
• MySQL database design and querying.
• Version control with Mercurial or Git.

Responsibilities

• Research technologies and engineer complete solutions.

Our ideal Sr. Software Engineer/Developer (with experience in PHP, Perl, Python or Ruby) willbe an integral contributor to the current and next generation of our APP . What You Need to Get the Job Done (Minimum Qualifications)

• 5+ years experience in web development
• Experience in PHP, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS
• Object Oriented development
• MySQL - both SQL query language and database structure/design
• Version control software, preferably Mercurial or Git

• Additional C/C++experience a plus
