Job summary

Cleared Recruitment is seeking a Software Engineer to join a technically focused team working on specialist systems in a high-security environment. This on-site role is based in Sydney, with a requirement for TSPV clearance.

The successful candidate will develop across embedded environments, build internal tools, and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver practical solutions while owning technical challenges and contributing to engineering capability growth.

About you

We're looking for someone with:

• Professional experience in software engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as C, C++, Python, Go or C#.
• Expzrience with Linux, embedded systems or hardware/software integration.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team.
• Good communication and technical documentation skills.

Experience across embedded software, systems engineering, test automation or electronics would be advantageous.
