Job summary

EPG Payroll & HR Australia is seeking a full-time Software Engineer to implement the visual elements users interact with in a web application, translating business vision into robust technology.

You will refine requirements, build reusable tools, liaise with product and engineering teams, maintain robust documentation, and proactively identify improvements. A Bachelor degree plus 2+ years of industry experience are expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting defects; ensure the application evolves and becomes more robust.
• Create and extend operational documentation to maintain up-to-date records of solutions.
• Identify areas for modification in existing programs and implement these changes.
• Write and implement efficient code.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a full-time experienced Software Engineer.

The role will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with in a web application. This includes the following:

• Understand and achieve balance between solutions delivery, innovation and what’s right the client by understanding the business vision and helping make appropriate technology choices.
• Refine, design and deliver product requirements.
• Build tools and frameworks that can be largely used by the broader design and engineering teams
• Liaise and work with product, and other technology and delivery teams to deliver high quality software solutions
• Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects proactively ensuring the application evolves and is increasingly robust.
• Create new and extend existing operational documentation to ensure there is a current up to date record of the latest version of the solutions
• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
• Writing and implementing efficient code

Education – Bachelor degree or higher qualification in relevant field. Industry experience may substitute.

Salary: Salary being offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience and is between $100,000 – $150K per annum.
