Job Title: Software Developers/Engineers - Python, Kubernetes, Docker

Description

Exciting opportunity within a leading Federal Government Agency to oversee software development projects, write optimized code and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers.

The successful Software Developers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Designing, building, integrating, delivering and documenting software capability that meets business requirements.
• Escalating issues and seeking advice from team leader or project manager in a timely manner.
• Documenting technical processes in accordance with organizational policies and procedures and promoting bi-directional knowledge transfer within a team environment.

The successful Software Developers will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience in development languages/frameworks such as Python, Java, RESTful web services, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Demonstrated experience using Puppet, Ansible and Docker automation tools
• Enhancing and supporting automation capabilities for existing systems

This is a great opportunity with a leading Federal Government Agency to join an established and friendly team. The successful Software Developers will be offered a 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extensions.
