Job summary

Lite n' Easy is seeking an experienced developer to support and modernize our Microsoft Access-based applications while delivering SQL-based solutions. You will gather business requirements, document specs, and assist with migration and lift-and-shift initiatives as part of our digital transformation journey.

You will work across legacy and modern technologies, collaborating with stakeholders to analyze processes and deliver scalable technology that supports our Brisbane-based team and evolving

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience with Microsoft Access databases, applications and VBA development.
• Solid SQL development skills including troubleshooting, reporting and data analysis.
• Experience supporting and maintaining legacy business applications.
• Proven ability to gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Experience with application migration, modernization or lift-and-shift initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and enhance business-critical Microsoft Access applications and databases.
• Gather, document and manage business requirements for application enhancements and migration projects.
• Perform SQL development, troubleshooting and data analysis across multiple systems.
• Work closely with stakeholders to analyse existing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in application modernisation, migration and lift-and-shift initiatives.
• Create functional specifications, technical documentation and process documentation.
