Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking an experienced softscape landscaper or horticulture professional to lead a small team in maintaining high-quality parks, gardens and public spaces in Victoria, Australia.

You will oversee softscape maintenance, mulching programs, soft-fall renovations, path updates, timber edging and planting, ensuring safe, efficient and high-standard work with a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence.
• White Card.
• National Police Check.
• Working with Children Check.
• Certificate III in Landscape Construction, Horticulture or related qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver programmed mulching works across parks, gardens and public spaces.
• Undertake soft-fall renovation programs and top-ups.
• Complete path top-up and rejuvenation works.
• Install, repair and maintain timber edging.
• Conduct planting works including trees, shrubs and seasonal plantings.
• Operate landscaping tools and machinery safely.
• Keep work areas clean, safe and compliant.
• Identify site issues and report concerns.
• Provide guidance and training to team members.
• Assist planning and delivery of landscape improvements.
