Job summary

This is a full-time, fixed-term Academic Level B appointment with responsibilities spanning teaching and research in the Sociology

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capacity to contribute to one or more of the following areas: global sociology; postcolonial studies and/or sociology of ethnicity; sociology of inequalities, economy and/or development; public sociology; social research methods.

Responsibilities

• Publish high-quality research and secure external funding.
• Contribute to teaching and convenorship in at least two listed courses.
• Supervise Honours and PhD students and engage in service and engagement activities.
