About the role

We are looking for an experienced Grade 2 social worker who is keen to work with dynamic teams that promote best practice and great patient outcomes in all clinical areas.

The Grade 2 Social Worker is required to provide high quality care to clients through the predominantly autonomous use of proficient clinical skills, effective communication, and to demonstrate developing professional leadership through proactive participation within the Social Work service and multi and/ or interdisciplinary teams.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the AASW
  • Previous bed-based Social Work experience
  • Evidence of current CPE, as per AASW requirements
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team and also work autonomously as required
