Darling Downs Hospital & Health Service – Stanthorpe QLD is seeking a Senior Social Worker to guide individuals and families through challenging health journeys. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide expert social work support, influence service improvements and contribute to care that makes a meaningful community impact.

You will lead interventions, mentor colleagues and advocate for patient‑centred pathways, across rural health settings, with a values‑driven approach

Qualifications

• Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
• Proven experience delivering high‑level social work services in complex healthcare environments.
• Strong communication, consultation and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders.
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to lead initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement.

As a Senior Social Worker, you'll help people and families navigate some of life's most challenging moments while supporting better health outcomes across the Darling Downs.
