Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to deliver specialist social work services within Maryborough community care. You will develop and implement treatment programs, manage caseloads, provide clinical counselling, and support clients and carers across the care continuum.

Required are Social Work qualifications and registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers; experience in aged care or health settings is a plus.

Qualifications

• Essential: Tertiary Qualifications in Social Work and registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers
• Desired: previous experience in aged care or health settings
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

Location: Maryborough and surrounding areas

Remuneration: $42.15 - $53.96 p/hr (dependent on experience) + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Classification: PO2.1 to PO3.3 - determined by demonstrated experience

You will provide our clients with Social Worker services with specialist advice and clinical services to improve their quality of life and well-being! This includes developing and implementing treatment & intervention programs, case management, clinical counselling, debriefing following critical events and education & support for clients and carers. You'll also have:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Social Work - Essential
• Registration with relevant professional body - Australian Association of Social Workers
• Previous experience within an Aged Care or Acute setting (desirable)
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Current Australian drivers licence and roadworthy registered vehicle - Essential
