The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to manage content across platforms, highlighting paediatric health initiatives and SCHN’s services.

You will plan, write and publish engaging posts for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, ensuring audience-focused messaging and timely promotion of SCHN’s achievements.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in social media and/or media relations or equivalent experience.
• Experience in developing, writing and editing content for diverse channels.
• Experience producing audience-focused content across social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish content across SCHN’s social media platforms.
• Contribute to implementing communication and engagement strategies to promote SCHN and its services.
• Support timely reporting and monitoring of social media activity across channels such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Job description

The role ensures SCHN’s social media platforms are communicating paediatric health initiatives and raising awareness of SCHN’s services, achievements and advancements.

Key responsibilities

• The Communications and Engagement Directorate is responsible for implementing the communication, media and engagement strategies, maximising positive communication opportunities, and promoting the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN), its facilities and associated institutions.
• The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, creating and publishing content across SCHN’s social media platforms, including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• The Communications and Engagement Directorate is responsible for implementing the communication, media and engagement strategies, maximising positive communication opportunities, and promoting the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN).

What you need

• Tertiary qualifications in social media and/or media relations, equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
• Extensive experience in developing, writing and editing content for diverse channels and platforms.
• Demonstrated experience producing audience focused content across a range of social media platforms.
