NSW Department of Customer Service in Sydney currently offers a temporary full-time maternity leave cover for a Clerk 7/8 role. The position runs 35 hours per week from 23 December 2026 to 16 July 2027, based at McKell Building, Haymarket, with a hybrid model allowing up to three days in-office.
You will support the social media team, creating content, planning paid activities, and assisting customers with enquiries and comments across channels.

The Department of Customer Service Cluster Social Media team is responsible for the channel strategies, content publications, paid activities and customer care of several social media assets owned by DCS agencies, including Service NSW, NSW Fair Trading, Business Bureau etc.
Our team is arranged into three streams: Social Media Channels & Creative, Paid Tactics & Content or Customer Care. Regardless of your specific area, we are a collaborative team where you will get the opportunity to work, learn and develop within all our focus areas. This role sits in the Channels & Creative stream focussed on content creation across Fair Trading and Building Commission channels.
A talent pool may be created as part of this recruitment process and will be valid for up to 18 months. The talent pool may be used to fill future ongoing or temporary vacancies of the same or similar role.
