Job summary

UTS in Sydney is seeking a Social Impact Practitioner to join the Centre for Social Justice and Inclusion. The role supports community engaged research and programs across UTS Shopfront, SOUL Award, Social Impact Grants and related initiatives, with a focus on building partnerships and advancing social impact.

You will manage projects, coordinate stakeholders, supervise casual staff, and contribute to evaluation and reporting of social impact activities, while promoting inclusive practices on

Qualifications

• Demonstrated community engagement skills, including listening and collaborating with community.
• Demonstrated facilitation skills engaging diverse stakeholders toward common goals.
• High-level written and verbal communications skills across diverse audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Understanding of social impact and participatory research and evaluation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholders to build partnerships.
• Project management and implementation including planning, budgeting, timelines, and reporting.
• Contributing to the Community Engagement Charter implementation.
• Managing communications, case studies/reports, promotion of initiatives, and dissemination of outcomes.
• Supervising casual staff and volunteers, including contracts and timesheets.
• Contributing to knowledge, evaluation and reporting of social impact programs.
