Job summary

Centennial Parklands Sports Centre is seeking a dedicated Soccer Referee to support its social soccer program. You will officiate matches, ensure fair play and maintain a welcoming environment for players of all ages.

Ideal candidates will have refereeing experience across age groups, solid knowledge of soccer rules, and strong communication skills to engage with players, coaches and spectators. Accreditation preferred, police check may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience officiating soccer matches across various age groups and skill levels.
• Strong knowledge of soccer rules and fair play principles.
• Excellent communication with players, coaches and spectators.
• Accreditation from Football Australia or AFC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Officiating scheduled social adult competitions on Monday evenings and Wednesday evenings (6pm-10pm).
• Manage match flow, enforce regulations and make decisive calls with integrity.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all participants.
• Collaborate with referees and competition staff to support CPSC soccer competitions.
• Keep up-to-date with rules, officiating techniques and best practices.

• Officiating scheduled social adult competitions on Monday and Wednesday evenings(6pm-10pm), ensuring fair play and adherence to the rules of the game
• Managing match flow, enforcing regulations, and making decisive calls with confidence and integrity
• Maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all participants
• Collaborating with fellow referees and competition staff to support CPSC soccer competitions
• Staying up to date with the latest rules, officiating techniques, and industry best practices

About You

• Demonstrated experience officiating soccer matches across a range of age groups and skill levels
• Solid knowledge of soccer rules, match procedures, and fair play principles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with players, coaches, and spectators
• A calm and adaptable approach to managing dynamic match situations
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Accreditation from a recognised soccer refereeing body (e.g. Football Australia, AFC) - preferred
• Current National Police Check
