Job summary

Sutherland Shire Council is recruiting an Indoor Sports Officer to support the daily operations of the Menai Indoor Sports Centre. You will deliver friendly customer service, manage bookings, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the facility while working within a 7‑day roster on a part‑time basis.

Essential credentials include a current First Aid/CPR certificate, NSW Working with Children Check, and Food Safety Handling certification.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Operating the kiosk in line with food safety standards
• Setting up and packing down courts and equipment
• Managing bookings and point-of-sale transactions
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety across the facility
• Assisting with minor first aid and incident response
• Supporting promotional activities and programs
• Upholding child safety standards and Council policies

As an Indoor Sports Officer, you'll support the daily operations of the Menai Indoor Sports Centre. Your responsibilities will include:

Desirable:

• Barista training and food handling experience

• Package: $60,887 - $64,405 gross per annum (full time equivalent) gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
• Hours of work: Permanent Part Time. 6 hours per week as rostered over 7 days.
