Job summary

SA Water is seeking a Cyber Security Operations Centre Specialist to monitor, detect, investigate and respond to cyber threats across IT and OT environments, within our Security Operations Centre.

You will engage in threat hunting, vulnerability management and continuous security improvement while collaborating with a capable team that protects SA Water’s critical infrastructure and delivers trusted services to South Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT within a large organization.
• Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities.
• Vulnerability management and monitoring experience.
• Desirable: incident response protocols experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate and respond to cyber security alerts and incidents across SA Water’s technology environments.
• Conduct threat hunting activities and proactively identify potential cyber risks and security gaps.
• Manage and support vulnerability management activities, including remediation coordination with technical teams.
• Configure, manage, and optimise security technologies including SIEM, EDR, mail security and other security platforms.
• Partner with internal teams to improve SA Water’s overall cyber resilience.
