Telstra Corporation in Brisbane seeks a Cyber Security Analyst to join its Security Operations team. You will investigate security events, analyse threats, and respond across the incident lifecycle, while contributing to continuous improvements and documentation.

We value practical SOC experience, strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a mindset for automation and service maturity in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Experience in a SOC or similar environment.
• Ability to investigate and respond to cyber security alerts.
• Experience with reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Familiarity with ITIL and NIST Incident Response frameworks.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor, triage, investigate and respond to cyber security events.
• Perform phishing analysis and response activities.
• Support incident response across the full lifecycle.
• Develop and enhance detection capabilities through rule tuning and automation.
• Produce operational reports and technical recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and customer teams to maintain service levels.
• Share knowledge and mentor SOC teammates.
• Contribute to automation and operational uplift.
