Job summary

A Global Investment Firm is seeking a Senior Product Development Manager within its Investment Management Division. You will lead development of new investment products and continuous improvement of existing solutions for Sales and Distribution, while analysing markets to shape strategy across products and channels.

Collaborate with marketing globally to ensure successful product launches and manage disclosure statements and marketing materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a Product Development role with exposure to Superannuation, Investment Markets or Wealth products.
• Strong stakeholder management across the group.
• Excellent communication and presentation to key decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Develop new investment products and improve existing Investment Solutions for Sales and Distribution.
• Analyze market landscape to strategy across products and identify sales channels.
• Collaborate with global marketing to maximize product exposure and buy-in.
• Review and approve investment marketing materials and manage Product Disclosure Statement processes.
• Be the point of contact with Investment Managers across the region and understand their product suite.
• Research global industry sectors, market trends and competitor activity to boost sales effectiveness.
• Coordinate RFP/RFI processes for prospects, researchers and consultants.
• Attend client seminars and sales meetings to provide strategic product support.

• Detailed analysis of market landscape to develop strategy across a diverse range of investment products, structures and identifying sales channels for new products.
• Collaborating with marketing team globally to ensure product launches and investment initiatives receive optimum exposure to maximise buy-in from global markets
• Review and approval of both existing and new Investment marketing materials
• Responsible for the Product Disclosure Statement process for existing products, track changes, determine market support etc
• Key point of contact with Investment Managers across the region with a detailed knowledge of their investment suite of products
• Research of global industry sectors, market trends and competitor activities that will enhance the sales process and maximise success
• Coordination of the RFP / RFI process for prospects, researchers and consultants
• Attend client seminars and sales meetings with the Distribution team to provide expert support from a strategic product perspective

ABOUT YOU

• Degree qualified with a Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a Product Development (or related) role with exposure to Superannuation , Investment Markets or Wealth Products
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with multiple vendors and teams across the group
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to confidently perform presentations to key decision makers
