In this role, you will oversee project management, design services, and external partner performance across multiple concurrent initiatives. You will develop project strategies, manage budgets, and ensure that every build meets Amazon's standards for quality, cost, and schedule. Key job responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project management for complex construction projects, including design evaluations, external partner selections, contract negotiations, and procurement functions — ensuring delivery aligns with budget, schedule, and quality targets.
• Develop project strategies and allocate resources effectively, holding project managers and external partners accountable for timely accomplishment of milestones while monitoring metrics and driving corrective actions when needed.
• Manage project budgets and spend approvals, reviewing requests against business needs and recommending alternate solutions where appropriate to control costs and maximize value.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, architects, design consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to align priorities, remove dependencies, and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks.
• Identify opportunities to improve how projects are scoped, built, and deployed by developing and updating processes, conducting facility audits, and maintaining a safe work environment across all project sites.

A day in the life

You will start your morning reviewing project dashboards and connecting with external partners to track progress against critical milestones. Throughout the day, you may conduct site visits to verify construction quality and safety compliance, facilitate design coordination meetings, or present project narratives to leadership. You will regularly collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve scope changes, evaluate trade-offs, and keep projects moving forward. Mentoring team members and participating in interviews round out your contributions beyond project delivery.
