Job summary

Nixil Pty is seeking a hands-on Snowflake Platform Engineer/Administrator to manage a cloud data platform in a regulated enterprise. You will focus on platform administration, security, automation and modernization to support banking/financial services operations.

You’ll work on configuring Snowflake, managing warehouses and access controls, and building CI/CD pipelines while contributing to data-platform modernization initiatives across a large organization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Snowflake administration and configuration expertise.
• Experience in a large, regulated enterprise—banking/financial services preferred.
• Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS) and IaC tooling (Terraform).

• You must have hands-on experience establishing and operationalising the Snowflake platform itself—from initial architecture and configuration through security, automation and production readiness.
• Experience limited to developing data pipelines, models or analytics solutions on an existing Snowflake platform will not meet this requirement.

This role combines platform administration, infrastructure automation and operational troubleshooting, with opportunities to contribute to data-platform modernisation.

• Practical experience with dbt and Snowpark/Python.
• Experience with Teradata or legacy data-platform modernisation.
• Relevant Snowflake certifications.
