Job summary

Nestlé Wahgunyah Factory seeks an experienced Product Technologist to drive snack product development from concept to launch. You will work closely with Marketing, Factory and Suppliers to deliver trials, cost-optimisation projects and successful commercialisation while upholding Nestlé’s quality and safety standards.

Reporting to the Applications Group Manager, you will lead trials, support existing products, and ensure regulatory and nutritional compliance.

Qualifications

3+ years in Product Development
Experience in cross-functional teams
Knowledge of food safety, HACCP
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Passion for Nestlé and its purpose

Responsibilities

Drive new product development on Snack products from concept to launch
Lead factory trials, feasibility studies and evaluation of results
Provide ongoing technical support for products, packaging, systems and documentation
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory requirements
Identify cost optimisation, raw material sourcing and recipe improvements
Manage specifications, BOMs, labeling, and artwork approvals
Support sensory evaluation and quality audits
Champion safety, health, environment, and quality standards
