Job summary

Nestlé Wahgunyah Factory is seeking an experienced Product Technologist to lead the development of snack product innovations from concept to commercialization, while optimizing costs and ensuring Nestlé standards.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Factory and Suppliers to deliver successful trials, manage SAP-based specifications, and support existing products through lifecycle, packaging, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in product development in a food-related environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with SAP and documentation control.

Responsibilities

• Drive new product development from concept to launch with cross-functional teams.
• Lead factory trials, feasibility studies, and evaluation of results.
• Provide ongoing technical support for existing products and packaging.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, labeling, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify cost optimisation, raw material sourcing and recipe improvements.
• Manage specifications, BOMs, labeling and artwork in SAP.
• Support sensory evaluation, quality audits and factory initiatives.
• Champion safety, health, environment and food safety standards.
• Collaborate across teams to stay ahead of packaging and sustainability trends.
