Job summary

SRG Global in Kwinana is seeking an experienced SMP Supervisor with hot works to lead site maintenance operations and coaching a high‑performing team. You will coordinate daily activities, ensure safety, quality and productivity, and build strong client relationships while delivering efficient maintenance outcomes in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

• Valid C Class Manual Driver’s Licence.
• Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Training.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily SMP maintenance and hot works activities across site operations.
• Lead, mentor and develop employees to build a safety‑focused team.
• Coordinate PSI, toolbox talks and workforce planning.
• Liaise with client representatives, attend meetings and provide reports.
• Interpret drawings and assist with labour, material and work-hour estimates.
• Plan and schedule preventative maintenance and monitor equipment performance.
• Manage rosters, consumables, stocktakes and site documentation.
• Champion HSEQ performance including inspections, audits and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with SWPs, JHAs, TAKE 5s and LMS requirements.
• Support QA documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify variations and workforce needs; provide updates to PM.
• Monitor costs and identify productivity/profitability opportunities.

The Role:

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee day-to-day site maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. You’ll act as the key link between site personnel, your workforce and client representatives, helping drive strong operational performance and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervising daily SMP maintenance and hot works activities across site operations.
• Leading, mentoring and developing employees to build a capable, safety-focused team.
• Coordinating daily pre-start information (PSI), toolbox meetings and workforce planning.
• Liaising with client representatives, attending meetings and providing accurate daily reports.
• Interpreting technical drawings and assisting with labour, material and work-hour estimates.
• Planning and scheduling preventative maintenance and monitoring equipment performance.
• Managing rosters, consumables, freight, stocktakes and site documentation.
• Championing HSEQ performance, including inspections, audits, incident reporting and risk management.
• Ensuring compliance with SWPs, JHAs, TAKE 5s, LMS requirements and site safety procedures.
• Supporting QA documentation, environmental controls and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identifying variations, operational risks and workforce requirements, providing timely updates to the Project Manager.
• Monitoring costs and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and profitability.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience, including hot works.
• A valid C Class Manual Driver’s Licence.
• Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Training.
• Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.
• The ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, CMMS platforms and site reporting systems.
• A strong understanding of HSEQ requirements, risk management and safe work practices.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
