Job summary

UGL Limited is seeking an experienced SMP QAQC Inspector to join our team on an ongoing basis on a major Oil & Gas project, commencing ASAP. This Perth-based role operates on a 15/13 site roster, with point of hire in Perth, and focuses on quality assurance across the project team.

You will support pre-mobilization quality inputs, oversee QC systems, and drive performance improvements, reporting trends and mitigation strategies while collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a construction or project environment.
• CSWIP certification and welding supervision credentials are preferred.
• Commissioning and systems completion experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality education, advice, and assurance across the project team.
• Collaborate during pre-mobilization to define quality inputs.
• Coordinate quality control systems and identify improvements.
• Develop and review project quality performance for compliance and effectiveness.
• Manage and schedule quality activities per inspection plans.
• Facilitate quality education sessions for the project team.
• Ensure timely submission of quality reports with trend analysis and mitigation.
• Review upcoming scopes of work to ensure quality delivery.
