Job summary

Monadelphous in Queensland seeks an experienced SMP Project Engineer to join our Engineering Construction division on a major energy infrastructure project in regional Queensland. Based in Chinchilla on a 2:1 roster from Brisbane, you will deliver SMP construction works including structural, mechanical and piping activities within a multidisciplinary team.

You will coordinate planning, interfaces and documentation, manage QA/QC, and support cost control and reporting while mentoring less

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience delivering SMP construction projects in energy, resources, mining, oil & gas or heavy industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of SMP construction methodologies and QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and delivery of SMP construction activities to meet project objectives.
• Coordinate engineering and construction interfaces to ensure safe, efficient delivery per project requirements.
• Prepare and manage construction documentation including work packs, RFIs, ITPs and quality documentation.
• Coordinate procurement activities, material requirements and subcontractor interfaces.
