Job summary

Smokemart & Gift Box is hiring casual Sales Assistants for the holiday season across our 250+ stores in Australia. You will engage with customers, support gift purchases, and contribute to a high-energy team culture.

Ideal candidates are over 18, available Nov 2026–Jan 2027 including holidays, and able to work weekends. A Police Check is required to commence. Training is provided and ongoing opportunities may arise.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Available Nov 2026–Jan 2027 (incl. public holidays & late-night trade).
• Roster across 7 days, weekends required.
• Police Check Report required to commence.
• Ability to stand and engage with customers while handling GiftBox products.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and unlocking gift packaging.
• Provide friendly, engaging service to boost sales and store experience.
• Support team with daily store operations and stock handling.

It's that wonderful time of the year - the season of giving and receiving gifts. Come spend your holiday season with the loudest and proudest teams in town - Smokemart and GiftBox!

We are looking for Sales Assistants across our 250+ National Store network who love being hands on and engaging with people, to move more gifts than the North Pole ever could!

This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to get their entry into Retail, fill their time (and bank balance!) over Uni break, or simply build their personal and professional skill set.

Our Ideal Team Member

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Ready to work between November 2026 - January 2027 (including Public Holidays & late-night trade evenings).
• Availability to be rostered across 7 days a week (specifically required for weekends!).
• A valid Police Check Report is required to commence.
• Ability to be on your feet handling our beautiful GiftBox and interacting with our customers.
