Job summary

DC Smoke Services is seeking a qualified electrician to join our Newcastle/Maitland team. You’ll install, test and service residential smoke alarms and perform compliance work across local homes, using our mobile app for reporting.

You’ll start from home with a fully maintained company vehicle and fuel card, working Monday to Friday on local residential jobs. Training and progression opportunities are available in a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current NSW electrical licence or interstate licence eligible for NSW recognition.
• White Card and current LVR/CPR certification.
• Current driver's licence.
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work.
• A friendly attitude and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing, testing, servicing and replacing residential smoke alarms.
• Carrying out safety switch (RCD) testing and other residential compliance work.
• Completing job reports and compliance documentation through our mobile app.
• Providing friendly, professional service to tenants, landlords and property managers.

What You'll Be Doing

Most days you'll be out visiting residential properties across the Newcastle and Maitland region, helping keep homes safe and compliant.
