Small Animal Specialist Surgeon - Melbourne Veterinary Specialist Centre

Melbourne Veterinary Specialist Centre (MVSC) is located in Melbourne, Australia and is one of the leaders of advanced multidisciplinary medical services for animals, with a diverse group of respected veterinary specialists experienced in referral cases for surgery, internal medicine, oncology, dermatology and animal behaviour.

The centre aims to provide clients, patients, and referring veterinarians with the best integrated veterinary care available, within the one complex and promote a team mentality with a fun and supportive work environment.

The MVSC is seeking interest from suitably qualified Specialist Surgeons to join our fantastic surgical team. There is flexibility to accommodate a part-time or full-time role. The applicant should have a strong interest in soft tissue, orthopaedic, spinal, arthroscopy and minimally invasive surgeries. The salary is dependent on experience and qualifications along with a production-based bonus.

  • Full-time
  • ACVS, ECVS or FANZCVS board certified
  • Registerable specialist surgery qualification with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Victoria along with a registerable veterinary degree
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work in a team, as well as the confidence to work autonomously
