Light & Wonder’s Gaming team in Sydney is seeking a Core Illustrator to create high-quality slot illustrations, symbols, characters, backgrounds, and UI elements. You will deliver production-ready artwork while maintaining visual consistency and meeting project timelines, working closely with designers, animators, developers and senior artists.

Qualifications

• Portfolio with detailed breakdowns showcasing practical work.
• Strong illustration and digital painting skills.
• Understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, perspective and storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other digital art tools.
• Ability to produce clean, production-ready artwork.
• Knowledge of asset creation workflows and game art pipelines.
• Attention to detail and visual consistency.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of game production constraints and asset optimization.
