CHANEL in VIC, AU is seeking a Skincare Therapist to deliver bespoke facial treatments across locations, including David Jones Bourke Street. You will educate clients on premium skincare regimes and act as a brand ambassador, maintaining elegance and discretion.

The role requires travel to various locations, a 30-hour weekly schedule, and a commitment to CHANEL's luxury standards. The ideal candidate has beauty therapy credentials, CIDESCO/CIBTAC is valued, and experience in a salon environment

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of skincare and facial treatments.
• Diploma in beauty therapy and relevant international certifications are highly regarded.
• Experience working in a salon or cabin environment and educating clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized skincare consultations and facial massage using Chanel techniques.
• Understand client needs and propose skincare programs to deliver results.
• Share skincare trends and Chanel tips to inspire clients and Beauty Advisors.
• Travel to various locations as required and manage travel logistics for appointments.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, service delivery and discretion.

As a skin expert the Skin Therapist curates a unique Brand experience by delivering bespoke facial treatments across different locations, ensuring each client interaction reflects excellence, professionalism and deep product expertise. Combining technical mastery with a refined client-centric approach, the Skin Therapist provides tailored skincare experiences, educates clients on effective skincare regimes, and builds meaningful, trust-based relationships that reinforce the Brand’s premium positioning. The Skin Therapist operates as a brand ambassador in motion, upholding the highest standards of presentation, service delivery and discretion while adapting seamlessly to diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized skincare consultations and facial massage to clients using the unique Chanel trained techniques.
• Understand client’s needs in skincare, propose personalized skincare program that delivers accurate results to ensure client satisfaction.
• Share skincare knowledge trends and Chanel facial techniques and tips with clients to inspire them to explore our Beauty range Coach and offer skincare knowledge to Beauty Advisors as a voice of influence and inspiration.
• Travel to various locations as required, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
• Manage personal schedule and travel logistics in a seamless manner to ensure readiness for appointments.
• Adapt quickly to changing environments while maintaining service quality.
• Have a positive attitude, communicates with the team and the manager on a regular basis and maintains the highest level of ethics and integrity undefined.

The Skin Therapist is a hands on position, that requires the successful candidate to use their Beauty Therapy background, develop client relationships to drive repeat business. You will be energized by the Beauty industry and building lasting relationships to achieve results for the business.

What You Will Bring

• Expert knowledge in beauty trends and culture, with an excellent understanding of the skin and skin treatments.
• Experience and understanding of working in a salon/cabin environment.
• Storytelling capability and ability to engage and inspire clients and team members.
• Proactive attitude, a self-learner and influencer of Skincare best practice.
• Professional knowledge and certification in beauty therapy or equivalent diploma / certificate.
• International certifications such as CIDESCO Diploma in Aesthetics / CIBTAC Certification are highly regarded.
• Basic makeup skills to finish the client experience would be advantageous.

This is a part-time position of 30 hours, with a roster including some weekends and some late nights.
