Job summary

Yarrawonga Manufactured Housing Pty seeks qualified Carpenters to join our Mulwala NSW team. Full-time roles are available, with part-time considered for the right applicant. You will confidently deliver carpentry work, support apprentices, and collaborate with trades to meet project timelines.

The role requires accuracy, OH&S compliance, and a strong work ethic. Applicants should have White Card and a valid driver's licence, plus a readiness to contribute to fast-paced construction projects.

Qualifications

• Proven carpentry techniques and methods with framing, lock up, fix, cladding & decking experience.
• Physically fit and able to perform physical requirements of the role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of building methods, processes, and materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• Ability to follow and drive for procedure improvements and efficiencies.
• Positive and solution driven mindset.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to help others in a team.
• Confidence to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good understanding of the building/manufacturing industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take pride in the quality of workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and all OH&S requirements.
• Maintain clean and organised work areas.
• Provide guidance and support to apprentices.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on projects.
• Carry out qualified carpentry activities.
• Carry out building maintenance activities.
• Minimise waste and manage materials efficiently.
• Inspect products/materials for conformity to standards.
• Organise materials, equipment, and resources to complete activities on time.
• Consult with supervisors to implement construction variations.
• Document time and materials accurately and use reporting tools.
• Apply quality control techniques and contribute to quality improvements.
• Safeguard company property including tools and machinery.
• Complete non-trade or administration tasks as directed.
• Manage time to meet production schedules.
• Prioritise tasks to meet company demands.
• Evaluate actions and seek improvements.
