Job summary

Badesha Carpentry Pty Ltd in Maddingley, VIC is seeking a qualified carpenter to join our growing team on a full-time basis. You will work on a range of residential and commercial projects on-site with competitive pay and superannuation.

The role requires at least 1 year of carpentry experience, formal qualification in carpentry, and the ability to read plans. You will contribute to framing, roofing, flooring, and finishing works while upholding high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of carpentry experience.
• Certificate III or IV in Carpentry or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
• Proven experience in framework, roofing, and flooring installation.
• Experience in material selection, layout preparation, and structural assembly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings to determine materials, dimensions and installation methods.
• Prepare timbers and other materials; measure, cut, shape, and assemble.
• Erect wall and roof frameworks; install sub-flooring and floorboards.
• Install external cladding, door and window frames, fascia, and roof sheathing.
• Assemble and install prepared structures and fittings.
• Construct and dismantle concrete formwork as required.
• Repair and maintain existing structures.
• Work with timber, laminates, perspex, and light metals.
