Visy Recycling in Narangba is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead two loader operators at a small transfer station on Brisbane's north side. The role runs 8am–4pm, five days a week, with some flexibility, and involves safe site operations and daily liaison with the Gibson Island team.

You will oversee loading outbound trucks, maintain housekeeping and safety standards, and step in when a team member is absent.

Qualifikationen

• Proven front-end loader experience.
• Forklift licence (LF) is highly regarded.
• Supervisory or leading hand experience or readiness to step up.
• Confidence working autonomously and owning a site day to day.
• Disciplined approach: perform the job right, every day.
• Reliability and honesty, including speaking up early when something goes wrong.
• Experience on waste, recycling, quarry or similar operational site is advantageous.

Site Supervisor – Narangba

Role Details
Site: A small transfer station where Council trucks drop off material, which we load and send to our Gibson Island facility.
Location: Narangba, on Brisbane's north side.
Hours: 8am–4pm, 5 days per week, with some flexibility.
Team: Lead two loader operators across the morning and afternoon shifts.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily site operations and supervise our two loader operators.


• Make sure vehicles enter and exit the site safely.


• Load outbound trucks to maximise payload and get the right tonnage every time.


• Liaise with our Gibson Island team on tonnes on site and loads required each day.


• Keep the site clean, tidy and under control, minimising fire risk through good housekeeping.


• Take charge when issues arise, from loader breakdowns to smoke in a stockpile.


• Keep loaders in top condition through cleaning, operational checks and reporting maintenance needs.


• Uphold Visy's safety, compliance and cleanliness standards, and keep the site presentable for Council visits.


• Jump on the loader to cover a shift when a team member is absent.
