Job summary

Cockburn Cement is seeking a Site Services Team Leader to guide a hands-on crew across bulk train loading facilities, quarries, and stockpile areas, delivering safe, efficient operations and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Site Services Lead, you’ll develop your team, coordinate activities and resources, supervise contractors, and uphold high standards of safety, housekeeping, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in quarrying, mining, manufacturing, logistics, or similar.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Experience coordinating people, equipment, contractors, and site activities.
• Practical problem-solving and sound communication skills.
• Experience in bulk materials handling, train loading, or quarry operations is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Site Services team.
• Coordinate bulk train loading activities.
• Oversee quarry operations, stockpiles, haul roads, and waste areas.
• Supervise contractors and service providers.
• Support equipment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, dust suppression, drainage, and road maintenance.
• Promote safety, environmental compliance, and operational improvement.
