Qualifications

• WAH, Rigging, Dogging and Confined Space certificates are desirable.
• Immunisation against Tetanus and Hepatitis A & B or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to all site surface departments (water treatment, dewatering, bore fields, surface dewatering, village infrastructure and admin complex).
• Coordinate projects and maintenance to meet targets by interpreting plans and scheduling resources.
• Assist technicians in the development of JHAs.
• Minimise production disruption by implementing maintenance strategies for equipment and non-processing infrastructure.
• Ensure contingency plans for external technical support and critical spares.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and regulations.
• Provide leadership and mentoring for the team.
• Achieve budgeted maintenance targets via preventive maintenance practices.
• Contribute to OHS and Environmental Management System initiatives and audits.
• Report safety/environmental hazards and incidents to a direct Supervisor.
• Handle administrative tasks: requisitioning parts, maintenance orders, and labour time.
• On-call component as required.

Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) operates its 100% owned high-grade Bellevue gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has a long mine life and is forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces a year.

Job Description

The Site Services Supervisor is responsible for the management of projects and maintenance work for all non-processing infrastructure outlined in their areas of responsibilities, as well as the day-to-day performance of the team. This will require conducting work in accordance with company standards and core values whilst maintaining strict compliance with relevant legislative and statutory requirements. The roster for this role is on 8 days on 6 days off.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Supporting all site surface departments with technical support, this includes, water treatment plants, mining pit dewatering, bore fields & generators surface dewatering services, village infrastructure including Kitchen and amenities, and the main administration complex and amenities.
• Assisting the company to achieve mining and production targets through the completion of projects; this includes interpreting/implementing plans, drawings and schedules and systematically coordinating allotted resources to achieve planned outcomes.
• Assist technicians in the development of JHA’s.
• Ensuring minimal disruption to production through the implementation of maintenance strategies for equipment and non-processing infrastructure.
• Ensuring contingency plans are in place to source external technical support and critical spares.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements by ensuring all works performed are within relevant laws and regulations.
• Providing ongoing leadership and mentoring for the team.
• Ensuring the achievement of budgeted maintenance targets by applying effective preventative maintenance practices through scheduled inspections, adjustments, and timely repair of plant equipment.
• Demonstrating full compliance with the OHS and Environmental Management Systems by developing and participating in initiatives, toolbox meetings, investigations, training, assisting with the implementation/contributing to audits.
• Reporting all safety hazards, environmental hazards, incidents, damage, breakdowns and potential plant or equipment stoppages to a direct Supervisor.
• Completing all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties, such as requisitioning of parts and materials, processing of maintenance orders, recording of labour time, etc.
• An on-call component as required.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Sound understanding of NPI maintenance & operations.
• Knowledge in statutory safety and environmental requirements relevant to plant maintenance and classified plant.
• Proficient level of knowledge in computer literacy, Pronto and MS Office.
• Solid awareness of Maintenance Management Systems and maintenance practices in a processing environment.
• Ability to plan and or anticipate likely scenarios as related to all key responsibility areas.
• Able to effectively allocate the organisation’s resources to achieve business requirements.
