Job summary

Blackbook Recruitment is seeking an accomplished QA/QC leader for a major energy infrastructure project in NSW. Reporting to the Project Manager and Senior Quality Manager, you will head all site-based QA/QC activities across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and high-voltage works, driving quality assurance on an EPC scale.

You will implement the Project Quality Management Plan, manage ITPs and inspections, oversee subcontractor and supplier quality, and lead NCRs and corrective

Qualifications

• Significant QA/QC experience on major construction or EPC projects.
• Experience on high-voltage substation construction is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Australian Standards.
• Ability to influence construction and engineering teams and clients.
• Current White Card and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site-based QA/QC activities across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and HV construction.
• Implement the Project Quality Management Plan and manage ITPs and inspections.
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier quality, NCRs and corrective actions.
• Ensure quality documentation is complete ahead of commissioning and handover.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including client, OEM and subcontractors to identify quality risks.
