Job summary

Hop Products Australia (HPA) in Victoria seeks an experienced Operations Support Manager to coordinate day-to-day administrative and operational support for the farming and processing operations.

Reporting to the Farm Manager and leading a small admin team, you will ensure efficient, compliant, and safe operations across the Myrtleford site. This full-time, site-based role requires strong organisation, data analysis, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience coordinating a small team.
• Ability to collate, analyse and present operational data to support decisions.
• Experience improving processes and implementing practical improvements.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with competing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small administration team, ensuring efficient delivery of operational and administrative support services across farming and processing operations.
• Provide high-level operational support to Farm Manager, Processing Facility Manager and General Manager Operations, coordinating day-to-day activities.
• Act as central communication point between management, employees, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Collate, verify and analyse operational and production data to support reporting and decision making.
• Support compliance with company procedures and reporting requirements by monitoring records and following up actions.
• Coordinate office administration, procurement activities and contractor compliance including onboarding, licences and insurances.
• Lead seasonal workforce administration activities including recruitment coordination and on-boarding.
• Maintain HR and payroll information within Employment Hero, provide payroll administration support and coordinate workers compensation and return-to-work activities.
• Facilitate audits, meetings, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality and operations.
