Job summary

Holcim is seeking a Multi Skilled Site Operator to safely operate mobile plant, load trucks with a Front End Loader, and support rail unloading. You will work with Loadrite scales, stockpile materials, and assist with weighbridge duties in a team setting.

The role requires safety focus, ability to adapt to site systems, and willingness to learn SCADA/PLC operations. A collaborative, high‑performing environment awaits in our quarry/construction materials site.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Front End Loader in quarry/construction materials environments (VOC preferred).
• Experience loading trucks using Loadrite or similar onboard weighing systems.
• Ability to operate a PC and learn site-based computer systems.
• Willingness and ability to learn SCADA/PLC systems.
• Experience operating water carts or street sweepers is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Front End Loader to load trucks safely and accurately using Loadrite scales.
• Tramming and stockpiling materials as required.
• Operate computer systems to unload trains using SCADA/PLC.
• Operate a water cart and street sweeper as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and conduct daily checks.
• Follow WHS procedures and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with a small team to meet daily production and customer needs.
• Assist with weighbridge duties and other site tasks as required.

About the role:

As a Multi Skilled Site Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile plant and equipment, accurately loading trucks, stockpiling material, and supporting rail unloading operations.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating a Front End Loader to safely and accurately load trucks. (Use of Loadrite Scales)
• Tramming and stockpiling materials as required
• Operating computer systems to unload trains using SCADA/PLC system.
• Operating a water cart and street sweeper as required.
• Conducting general site housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Conduct daily operational checks and report any plant, equipment or site issues.
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures and environmental requirements.
• Work collaboratively with a small team to achieve daily production and customer requirements.
• Assisting with other site duties and weighbridge as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience operating a Front End Loader, preferably in a quarry, construction materials or similar environment. (VOC required)
• Experience loading trucks using Loadrite or similar onboard weighing systems.
• The ability to operate a PC and learn site-based computer systems.
• A willingness and ability to learn and operate SCADA/PLC systems.
• Experience operating water carts, street sweepers or other mobile plant would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when loading trucks and handling materials.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
