• Manage all site staff, including Leading Hands.
• Oversee tower crane and logistical issues.
• Ensure OH&S management and site safety.
• Direct multiple sub-contractors.
• Assist with construction program meetings.

We are looking for a new Site Manager to oversee our Highrise Projects. We are seeking a motivated professional with experience in Highrise Apartments. This is a Contract role with long-term work in the pipeline that can progress into a fulltime position.

Job Overview

Site Manager to join our Project/Development division. We have developments under construction in Gold Coast and Northern NSW and are seeking a capable Site Manager that can deliver these projects. The business is a well-regarded Builder/Developer with an excellent reputation for high-quality developments and as an excellent employer.

Responsibilities

• Management of the full life cycle of the construction project from early works, the structure through to finishes.
• Reading construction plans and drawings
• Management of all company site staff – including Leading Hands and Site labour.
• Management of tower crane and logistical issues
• Strong understanding and implementation of OH&S management and Site Safety
• Direction and management of multiple sub-contractors
• Can assist with the construction programme ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget – weekly and monthly programme meetings

Qualifications

• Trade background or similar and progress to a Site Manager.
• A QLD and or NSW Builders License is preferred
• A strong understanding of structure as well as a high-end quality finish.
• Experience in delivering apartment projects in Australia
• Available to start a new position
• Good communicator and have a positive attitude to building multi-story apartment projects.
• Basic computer literacy skills
