A market leader with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, they are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their professional team.

Offering a range of services to their high‑end clients, the company division specialises in fit out and refurbishment projects in the commercial & industrial sectors. For this specific project you’ll be working on a commercial refurbishment & fit out located near Cromer, construction has just commenced and they’re looking for someone who can build relationships and who has a strong background in running programmes as the no.1 on site. This company has a busy pipeline and can guarantee long‑term work.

Site Manager, you will be responsible for the daily delivery of high quality and on‑time construction projects, ensuring that the projects are completed to documented drawings, specifications and nominated timeframes.

This role will be paid as a permanent full‑time salary.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Conduct onsite HSE and quality inductions with all onsite staff / subcontractors
• Review and manage key project issues
• Liaise with statutory bodies ensuring all relevant notifications are made
• Ensure site compound and amenities are established and maintained
• Organise all site inspections with clients, authorities and consultants
• Assist Project Manager with preparing scopes of work
• Understand head and subcontractor contracts, especially in relation to timeframes
• Produce and manage defect lists for subcontractors prior to finishing works

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Trade or building related qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in site supervision of construction projects including planning, programming and management of onsite staff / subcontractors
• Construction Safety Induction (White) card
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Sound knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards relating to building sites
• Proven ability to lead and motivate subcontractors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
