Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a major university project in Geelong and Western Victoria. You will oversee day-to-day site operations across multiple campuses and coordinate mechanical, electrical and subcontractor works to keep the program on track.

This role focuses on safety, quality, stakeholder engagement and managing multi-front construction activities in a live institutional environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or experienced Site Supervisor.
• Mechanical & Electrical project experience highly desirable.
• Experience across commercial, institutional, education or other live environments.
• Strong subcontractor and site coordination skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple work fronts and/or locations.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality and construction programming.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant construction qualifications and tickets.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across multiple campus locations.

• Manage site schedules, lookaheads and construction programs.

• Work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, client and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate works within an operational university environment.
• Monitor progress, quality and compliance across multiple work fronts.
• Ensure project HSEQ requirements and site procedures are maintained.

Duration: Approx. 6 months
Project Value: Approx. $10m
Start: Immediate
Rate: Circa $75 + Super PAYG (PTY ABN would be PAYG rate + super + gst)

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major mechanical and electrical project being delivered across multiple campuses within a large university environment in Geelong.

With an estimated project value of approximately $10m, this is an opportunity for a capable Site Manager to take ownership of site delivery across multiple work fronts within a complex, live institutional environment.
