Job summary

Adelaide Croatia Raiders in Cairns is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a flagship supermarket-anchored retail development valued at over $20 million, from site establishment through civil works and structure.

You will hand over to the Fitout Site Manager and move on to another major project already secured in the region, with a clear path to long-term opportunities and relocation support to Cairns.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years' experience managing commercial construction projects valued at $20 million+.
• Strong structural construction experience from groundworks through to completion of the structure.
• Current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
• A proactive, hands-on management style with a commitment to safety, quality and programme.

• Drive programme, productivity and construction milestones.
• Supervise subcontractors and site personnel.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.

• Ensure works are delivered on time and within budget.
• Oversee project documentation and statutory compliance.
• Deliver a seamless handover into the fitout stage.

The Role

You'll take full ownership of a major supermarket-anchored retail development valued in excess of $20 million, leading the project from site establishment through civil works and structural construction.

As the project progresses into the fitout phase, you'll complete a structured handover to the dedicated Fitout Site Manager before moving directly onto another major commercial project already secured within the region.
