Job summary

Beek Build Pty Ltd is seeking a Site Manager to lead and manage tradesmen and subcontractors on-site, working with the Project Manager and clients to deliver projects in the commercial and industrial sectors in South Australia.

You will oversee site safety, monitor progress against the construction program, and coach the site team to achieve high standards of workmanship while maintaining strong client relationships for repeat business.

Qualifications

• Trade or tertiary qualification in Building, Construction or Engineering.
• Current Senior First Aid.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of all site safety and ensure all procedures are monitored according to the Project Safety Management Plan
• Monitor progress of works against the current construction program and ensure all trades are coordinating with each other
• Manage and coach staff effectively, leading the team in achieving project and personal goals
• Oversee, coach and mentor the works of the Site Supervision team
• Oversee the quality of trade works to ensure the required standard is achieved in all cases
• Issue site instructions and other correspondence as required to trade contractors and consultants
• Liaise with the Client and ensure a long-standing relationship is maintained
• Report to senior management on a regular basis and advise of any current or potential issues

The Role

As our new Site Manager, you will lead and manage tradesmen and subcontractors to oversee all construction activities on-site. You will work closely with the Project Manager and engage with clients and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

About You

Trade or tertiary qualification in Building, Construction or Engineering

Current Senior First Aid

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role

High level ability to read and interpret drawings

Well-developed planning skills including industry knowledge regarding lead times for delivery and trade works

Strong leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams and individuals

Knowledge of the work of construction trades and ability to assess the quality of workmanship
