Job summary

Horizon Construction Services Pty Ltd is seeking a experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day site operations for commercial projects in Adelaide. This permanent, full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality projects safely, on schedule and within budget, while building strong site culture and collaboration with subcontractors and clients.

Ideal candidates will have a carpentry or trade background, solid leadership, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Carpentry or trade background (preferred but not essential).
• Strong understanding of construction programs and ability to meet project milestones.
• Solid leadership and problem-solving skills.
• High level of organisation, initiative and attention to detail.
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to also work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and overall project delivery.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades, equipment and materials.
• Ensure works are delivered in line with the construction program and safety requirements.
• Maintain high standards of site presentation, compliance, and WHS procedures.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications and documentation accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site operations and overall project delivery

Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades, equipment and materials

Ensure works are delivered in line with the construction program and safety requirements

Maintain high standards of site presentation, compliance, and WHS procedures

Liaise with project managers, consultants and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain workflow

Read and interpret construction plans, specifications and documentation accurately

Foster productive relationships with all stakeholders through clear communication and a professional attitude

What You’ll Need:
