Job summary

Edge Concepts QLD is seeking experienced Site Installers for project work across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas with an immediate start. This casual, short-term role runs through to the end of 2026, with possible extension into 2027.

You’ll join our installation team and work with project managers to install balustrades, screens, fencing, handrails and related architectural metalwork across commercial and residential projects.

Qualifications

• Previous construction site experience.
• Strong installation and hand-tool skills.
• Ability to read drawings and accurately measure and install.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work productively without constant supervision.
• A current White Card.
• A current driver’s licence.
• A reliable and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Install frameless and semi-frameless glass balustrades.
• Install stainless steel and aluminium balustrades and handrails.
• Install privacy and architectural screens.
• Install aluminium and glass fencing and gates.
• Install window hoods and rooftop pergolas.

Site Installer

Immediate Start | Project Work Through to Christmas

Edge Concepts QLD is looking for experienced Site Installers to join our installation team for project work through to the end of 2026 and possibly into early 2027.

This is a casual, short-term project role offering consistent hours and an immediate start.

About Edge Concepts QLD

Edge Concepts QLD is a leading manufacturer and installer of premium balustrades, screening, fencing and architectural metalwork throughout South East Queensland.

We work with some of the region's leading builders and developers across commercial, multi-residential and high-end residential projects.

Our current workload requires additional experienced installers to support our existing crews through a busy project delivery period.

About the Role

You'll work alongside our existing installation teams across construction sites throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas, depending on your location.

You will be responsible for installing:

• Frameless and semi-frameless glass balustrades

• Stainless steel and aluminium balustrades

• Stainless steel and aluminium handrails

• Privacy and architectural screens

• Aluminium and glass fencing and gates

• Window hoods

• Rooftop pergolas

You'll work closely with our Project Managers and installation crews to complete projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in people with a trade background in:

• Carpentry

• Glazing

• Cabinet making

• Shopfitting

• Sheet metal fabrication

• Similar construction-related trades

You'll ideally have:

• Previous construction site experience

• Strong installation and hand-tool skills

• Ability to read drawings and accurately measure and install

• Good attention to detail

• Ability to work productively without constant supervision

• A current White Card

• A current driver's licence

• A reliable and professional approach to work

Previous experience installing balustrades, glass, screens, fencing or architectural metalwork is highly regarded but isn't essential for experienced tradespeople with transferable skills.
