Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking an experienced site supervisor to oversee delivery of operational technology and infrastructure works on busy transport projects in Sydney. You will act as the practical link between delivery teams, contractors and technical specialists, ensuring safety, quality and on-time installations.

You’ll interpret drawings and specs, coordinate trades, and resolve field issues while keeping project managers and engineers informed. Flexible work options may be available.

Qualifications

• Experienced site supervisor with a strong trade/technical background and hands-on infrastructure delivery.
• Able to interpret drawings, specifications and technical information into practical site outcomes.
• Demonstrates strong safety awareness, sound judgement and clear communication.
• Comfortable coordinating project managers, engineers, specialists and crews.
• Electrical trade background preferred, especially in electrical, ITS or CCTV systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractor activities across complex infrastructure sites.
• Coordinate trades and site interfaces, review progress and quality.
• Resolve technical and constructability issues in the field.
• Support site inspections, testing, commissioning, defect resolution and asset handover.
• Liaise with project managers and engineers to keep work moving.
