Job summary

SP Data Centres seeks a Health, Safety and Environment Administrator to support the Tomago BESS Project in Newcastle NSW. The role is site-based, full-time contract, reporting to the Project HSE Manager and working within a dynamic construction environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining HSE records, coordinating inductions, and supporting document control and compliance with HSMP/EMP. Travel to project locations may be required, with a focus on maintaining safety culture and

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or similar.
• Experience in administration within construction, infrastructure, mining or industrial environments.
• MS Office skills at intermediate to advanced level (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Construction White Card or eligible to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the project HSE team.
• Maintain HSE records, registers and databases.
• Keep HSE documentation current and accessible, including updating noticeboards.
• Coordinate and schedule site inductions and verify completion.
• Support document control per project requirements.
• Assist with mobilisation of subcontractors and management of attendance records.
• Minuting meetings as required.
